The JRHS Theatre Boosters are a parent-run organization dedicated to strengthening and supporting the theatre programs at James River High School.
We welcome all guardians, parents, family members, and community members who are interested in helping the theatre department through fundraising and volunteerism.
Our members volunteer in a variety of ways: publicizing performances, chaperoning field trips, organizing ticket sales, providing meals to students, soliciting donations, and many more!

Mum Sale Fundraiser!
Dear James River Theater Families,
Welcome to the 2023/24 school year and your first opportunity to participate in a fundraiser to support our theater students. The James River HS Theater Boosters are partnering with The Great Big Greenhouse to provide fall mums.
Your Order:
You order by filling out the order form on the back of this letter, where you will also find our Venmo handle as a payment option. If you choose to pay through Venmo, please include your student’s name, number of plants you would like to purchase and the color in the notes section of “What’s this for?” on your Venmo account. You will still return the order form, even if you pay with Venmo. The second option for payment is through a check made out to James River HS Theater Boosters, attached to the order form.
The due date for the order form and payment is Friday, September 22nd, with an approximate plant pick up date of Friday, October 6th and/or Saturday, October 7th at James River. Exact date, time and location at the school to be finalized and communicated shortly.
Student Bonus – $50 at Chipotle!
Please encourage your students to collect orders for plant sales! Have them reach out to friends, family and neighbors. The student with the most sales will win a Chipotle $50 gift card!
Your mum(s) purchase will help support our fabulous theater department in numerous ways. These include but are not limited to assisting with student attendance and participation in competitions and festivals, purchasing needed equipment for the department, all means of producing the actual shows that will run this year from October through May, and the end of the year banquet held in the historic Hippodrome theater.
